Russell Powell is the name of the man behind these beautiful works of art. Powell is a first-grade school teacher in San Jose, California. He paints amazing realistic portraits directly on his hand. He then uses the painting on his hand as a stamp to transfer the images to paper. He calls this process “hand-stamping,” and even incorporates similar art projects into his classes.
His main focus is the human face, and he often finds his inspiration in famous celebrities as you can see through so many of the images.
